Should a pregnant woman still have to fulfill her domestic role?

Assuming she agreed to take care of the home, cook, clean, etc before marriage and the husband lives up to his roles too should she still have to while pregnant?

Should the husband still have to go to work and bring home the same income when he’s so sick he can’t get out of bed? Of course not. Pregnancy can lead to feeling so sick you can barely get out of bed because of for example nausea or hip pain. You can also be put on bedrest by the doctor if they can see you risk going into preterm labor. Stress and to much physical strain can lead to increased preterm contractions, which can be very painful, and even preterm labor which depending on what gestation can result in the baby either not surviving or spending weeks or months in the NICU and have high risk of lifelong disabilities as a result of being born too early. So no she should not if the pregnancy keeps her from doing so (some feel just fine pregnant and it can vary from pregnancy to pregnancy for the same woman, and also vary depending on what week gestation she’s at). You can’t stick to an agreement if the circumstances changed and it’s no longer possible or reasonable to stick to it. There has to be some flexibility and understanding of life changes.

In general there is no should in relationships.. at least sounds sad to me.. people and life evolve, best to talk about what works for you both regularly.
But if she can and still wants to then sure. Thing is pregnancy can be very hard physically, emotionally and mentally, and expecting the same during and the time after birth is just hoping for the best. Need to face reality.

With my last pregnancy I had pre eclampsia that wasn't detected till the very last day of my pregnancy. Looking back there were times that I now know was my organs failing me and I still pushed through and cared for my kids, the house and everything else when I should have been resting and probably in the hosptial or on complete bed rest. So if a woman is pregnant and needs a break from all that stuff don't judge her cause you never actually know what is going on inside her body. The answer to this is a hard no. Let pregnant women rest and the husband and rest of the family needs to take over and help her out.
