Anyone that does pretend that this is a normal behavior has no idea about proper education.
If I was a mother and I had a boyfriend that asks my daughter if she wants to purchase pornographic content, I would simply kick that toxic person out of my house. He would have less than one hour to give me back the key and to pack his belongings.
It is not tolerable that a boyfriend interferes with the education of your own children. Furthermore, I consider that his behavior is immoral, even if my daughter is an adult at age 18.
I do not tolerate people that have no education and that misbehave. Those are the kind of toxic people that I totally abhor.
Probably depends on how open minded you all are and how often do you talk about sex and stuff. There is a chance he meant it as a joke. But only if he does that all the time and when you are around. If not - get rid of him asap
I think there's a few things to mention here.
Are we as Westerners more puritanical than we deem ourselves to be? Arguably, sexuality is an absolutely a normal thing, as if eating. Why do we make it something perverse.
In these dynamics there can be an issue of the mother feeling insecure with regard to the attention that her daughter receives. This is something that can be explored.
Lastly, the guy could simply just be very creepy.
This is where communication and the type of relationship you have together comes into play.

I think you should be more concerned what her reply would be. But then she is 18 and is free to mess up her own life with her own decisions.
Creeps like single mothers with daughters because they are less likely to get put in their place by the father. If she’s uncomfortable you should be too. He is a boyfriend, that’s your child forever.
