I would take the call, but I wouldn't go home until I was done hanging out with my boys. I won't drop time with my friends just to go home if she wants me to just like I know she wouldn't do it either. I would tell her that I am still with my friends and will be home after I am done.
If it keeps happening it comes off as possessive and unhealthy.
I'd excuse myself for the call and make sure she was alright. She likes to be updated due to my medical issues and just wants to make sure I'm safe. It's pretty routine and no big deal. I talk for 10 minutes or so then return to the scheduled event.

I mean if she calls me on the phone while I’m out I’ll excuse myself for a moment and take the call. Talk to her, see what she wanted, make sure she’s good and then return to what I’m doing, that’s not a big deal.
When I'm out for the night, I usually have my phone on silence so I wouldn't notice her call. If I noticed it, I would take the first one and then ignore the rest.
Given the infrequency of being able to get out with friends, I would only leave for an emergency. Would only be for 2 or 3 hours, she can survive with kids for that period of time
Don't do nights out but no the trains take so long how will they know if I left immediately or not
Unless it's an Emergency no, because I don't bother my girl unless it's an Emergency on her girls night out.
Thinking back to those days, I have NEVER left my friends when I was hanging out
I would attend the call and talk for few minutes (max 5)
