To me is really important as it is a way for me to connect to partner on a deeper level. I once was in a six month relationship with someone who was still a virgin and planned on remaining a virgin until marriage and I used to feel a bit disconnected from them.

There are probably people who don't like sex and would be ok with that, but for me this doesn't sound normal. Besides I do love sex and my partner should enjoy the same things as me.

It can survive without it, it would be more of a deep friendship though. For me it’s also important to have sexual intimacy. I can have a friendship with anybody, i want my relationship to be special

That's up to the people involved. It's important to me -- I wouldn't stay with someone who wasn't interested in a sexual relationship.

I think that some form of physical intimacy is necessary for a relationship. I do not defi e pbysical i timacy as just sex though. Sex is definitely included in the definition
