Significant other calling her guy friend babe instead of his name would it make you uncomfortable?

So my girlfriend wanted me to come out and meet some of her friends and we were at the bar having a few drinks her friend Dan was standing at the bar ordering drinks and she was trying to get his attention and I noticed that she kept calling him babe instead of his name also before this happened she called him babe instead of his name which I asked her why and she said it was an accident and then literally 4 mins later that happened when she was calling for him again

we were all talking her Dan and I and Dan said he was going back to school to become a traveling nurse and she said that he should sell his house and could stay with him anytime he was back in the area which I found very weird although they have been friends for 12 years or more so I understand they are close but also he is widowed and single and I don’t feel like that’s something you should ask another man to do when you are in a relationship! He is retired and in his 50s I’m sure he doesn’t need the help and I am 29 and she is 37.

I looked irritated and she said what’s wrong and I said I don't know you keep calling him babe and told him he could move in to your house then she said she didn’t mean to call him that after doing it 5 times and that she didn’t tell him to move in but I was right there when he said where would I stay and she said I don't know in the basement or something? I don't know it just made me uncomfortable and didn’t seem right but she also did call the dog babe earlier lol so I don't know but doesn’t make me feel like a special person to her at all when everyone is called the same thing how would any of you feel about something like this? Do you think she has a crush on him or just good friends? She always goes the distance to see me and stay with me for days at a time vise versa and always wants to talk to me or plan things with me and introduce me to her friends and family! We been dating for 4 months going on 5
