Was this rude or disrespectful?

My long term boyfriend is divorced. His kids live in another state and he goes to see them every single weekend. We see each other 2 or 3x a week including sleepovers. I get it. BUT we made plans over a month ago for him to not travel this weekend so we can enjoy some weekend activities for once. I set up some fun things to do together that took time and money. I just get a text he was dealing with an issue with his business all day into night today. He has 2 conference calls up until 2pm tomorrow. He tells me this at 1130 at night the day before our plans. I was supposed to pick him up at 930am. So he wants to just meet for dinner. WTF!!! I haven't spent a weekend with him in 6 months.. Updates:24 minI think this is really rude, inconsiderate and disrespectful. He could have done these so called emergency conference calls on Sunday!
