How cruel is purposely making a wife take birth control pills (keeping her from getting pregnant)?

If a husband did this to his wife, how cruel would you say it is?

Cliff notes:
- Husband pays doctor to lie to his wife about having a rare blood disease the reason she's unable to get pregnant
- She's prescribed vitamins as a treatment plan she has to take daily to get pregnant
- The doctor and husband know she's fertile and those aren't vitamins. She's unaware they are birth control pills.
- Wife wants kids but husband insist that she becomes successful in her job; he wants her to earn more money and get promoted, pbsessing about a wealthy lifestyle
- Husband is upset when wife turns down her job promotion because she wants to have kids
- Wife finds out she's perfectly fertile. She finds out husband/partner of 10 years purposely kept her from getting pregnant, wanting to live off her money. She kicked him out.

What is the difference between cruel and evil? Where did this happen? What happened to the physician?

Cruel is a lesser level of evil. For instance you can be cruel to someone by giving them hard work, gossiping about others or spoiling someone's surprise. It doesn't mean you have thought about it. However, evil takes it to another level. You're evil the moment you're enjoying or taking a pleasure from someone's suffering and making sure they never accomplish a goal or their dream; it's actually doing something well thought out and calculating.

It doesn't say where it happened because it was just a video. I think a case like this must have happened at some point. I'm assuming the medical license gets revoked.

In the end of the video, she was shocked that he would do that and kicked him out of the house. I would never forgive that either.

I didn’t watch the video. I’m glad she chose to do that. As a wife and the mother and the highest earner in the house, I am blown away that any loving husband would do this. It’s like refusing to have children if your husband wants them because he hasn’t reached the level of income you expect him to at any given point. It’s just not how love and a marriage should work.
We have a pillow in the house that says love is patient. We both believe that

Very wrong. It is never ok to trick someone. I told my Girlfriend straight up that I don’t want kids and won’t compromise on it so she needed to make a decision on wether she wanted kids or not. And if she did and it was super important then perhaps we remain friends but she find her self someone who does want them. I won’t make her take the pill. I am getting a vasectomy. No sense in forcing her to take a pill daily because I made a life choice.

To go that far as to pay a doctor to make sure his wife doesn't get pregnant and purposely make her waste her years, destroy her dreams of motherhood, wow. That sounds cruel to me
