Do you always have periods where you sit in silence? Or is every opportunity alone together used for sex?
I think silence is nice sometimes, cuddling in silence... is there never anything on your mind you want to talk about just for the sake of connecting with your partner on an emotional and intellectual level?

I'm an introvert but my kids don't believe it. I turn everything into a lesson.

My wife doubts it too because around her I'm seldom quiet because I'm just gushing all the time. I talk to her constantly. She's so smart. We connect on a intellectual level. I love the taste of her mouth and skin and her scent and the sounds that she makes, I also want to hear her thoughts, I want to immerse myself in her. I need to know her perspective on everything. Like I want our brains to hug each other.
I wish I could read her mind.
I don't know how else to describe it.

Always sex for whenever we are alone? Nope. Sometimes we just cuddle (which I love doing so) we sometimes play games, watch movies, or even talk to each other (more like venting)

It's a quite rare thing to find someone with whom you can be comfortably silent together. No awkwardness. Just understanding each other's silence and enjoying the moments. But I never had that. My boyfriend gets bored and even on calls if I'm silent for 10 seconds he asks me if I'm bored and wanna hang out or don't have anything to say to him. He doesn't like intellectual talks either. It's very rare. He's happier when we talk dirty.

Yes i have and its ok. You give your SO time to reflect on themselves or you. Time to spend in silence is good.

Sex shouldn't be the only thing you do with the person you love. If so, then there is a problem. You can be silent, happy, sad, exciting etc. time to time this is normal.
