Which one would you be more concerned about? Your SO’s exes being similar to you or completely different from you (race, height, everything) ?

My bfs exes were all completely different from me they had green eyes or hazel and they were all white girls with brown hair they were even taller than me not by much though except for the first. He told me that that was just what was available to him during that time. We’ve been together for over two years now. I used to worry about not being his type all the time

I haven’t put much thought into it, and I don’t think I would care much… None of these are really a concern for me. However, If I had to choose, I would probably have to say if their exes were completely different than me.


I chose B, completely different, because emotionally speaking - “What did they see in me? How come I attracted them even though I look different? Is he still attracted to women that look different?” Those are all emotional/insecure questions that would probably pop in my head in that scenario.


I either way, none of these options concern me because no matter what his exes looked like, he chose me. I can’t control who or what he finds attractive, so if he’s more or less physically attracted to others, then so be it. I think, as long as he is with me and he shows he is committed, genuine, happy, and loyal… I have nothing to be concerned about.

I would say similar to the ex. My current boyfriend had 3 girlfriend prior. The first two look very diff than the 3rd girlfriend. I have a few similarities w/ his last ex. Even tho we’re diff races. It makes me wonder if he chose me Becus I resemble his ex. Tbh , if he ever talks bout his first 2girlfriends—> I never hav an issue nor it bothers me Becus those relationships were 6years ago. However, if he mentions anything bout the 3rd ex gf—> It makes me feel some type of way.
I even noticed his flings don’t resemble me nor his ex.
So, it concerns me a little.

Completely different, because it means she probably doesn't really like me.

And this was the case for all of my exes. GAG already knows I'm short, but out of ten women, only ONE of them ever dated a man shorter than me, and he was like 5'8"/5'9". So let's assume these women dated three men on average. That's 30 ex boyfriends between all of my exes and only one of them were shorter and less muscular than me. Yeah, that would give me pause.

Then again, almost no woman would want a man who's only 180 cm. Let alone one that isn't built like The Hulk or a millionaire. Most of my exes' exes were white dudes, but some were Black and Hispanic too. Most were in their mid 20s to early 30s.

So yeah, I'd be less concerned if they were all short, chunky, non-white men like me. Not ex-Marines and sh*t, like so many of them were.

none of those would be much of a concern for me, it all depends of course...

I would be more concerned if they were NOT genuine, or if they were not comfortable with who they are or how they really are as a person

Both are bad, but I feel like it would bother me more if I was very similar to the ex. It would seem like he was using me to try and replace her.

I wouldn't care about any of that their his ex because it didn't work out it's not all about looks a big part of your relationship is compatibility and obviously him and his ex's wasn't that's why he's with you and not them
