If this person gets mad over a small thing, just imagine what his reaction will be when something is really serious.

I just hope for you that you are not in a relation with that person because his behavior is childish and toxic at the same time. He is the kind of person that has never learnt to accept that others may think differently and have opposite opinions.

Assuming he is in the same age group as you are, I would say that his behavior is the one of a 14 year old teenager.

Just do as he says and leave him alone. Distance yourself from him because you really deserve someone that behaves like an adult and not like a child.
