Why does my mom’s rule regarding sleepovers with my boyfriend make any sense?

My mom knows I’ve had sex. She’s aware that my boyfriend & I are sexually active. However, she won’t allow me to have a sleepover with my boyfriend until I am at least 18. Why is this? If we’re literally active why can’t we have a sleepover? We’ve been together for a year & 3 months as it is and he’s 18 years old. I’m 17. I’m just confused as to how this would make any sense?

because she's trying to slow down "how much you're active" if you will.
I don't get that mentality, cuz I know when my boys are older I'd rather them feel safe and do what they've decided to at home if they wanted to, rather than them just going elsewhere to do it.

Just because she know, doesn’t mean she agrees with your choice to have sex yet. If she said sure, have a sleepover (‘sex at my house’), then she would be condoning, or even encouraging it.
