Why men and women, guys and girls need to stop insulting each other, why does it still continue?

If you are reading this, regardless of your gender or past experiences based on bad parenting, dating, ex-marriages, or whatever, there is so much hatred amongst males and females. I understand this is nothing new, it’s existed for God knows how long. I’ve studied philosophy, law, politics, gender, psychology in university and one thing I can say is there are too many ideologies we try to define ourselves by. This era is utterly toxic especially with social media. Women laughing about men being short or having small dicks or men calling women fat whores who don’t deserve an opinion even on matters such as abortion. This is wrong, it’s disrespectful.

I want to see peace and love, civilness, maturity to blossom, understanding, respect and modesty between men and women. I’m not a fan of screwing around, taking advantage of others, insulting others just so I can feel better about myself. I admit I’ve lived a fabricated life for years trying to seek the approval of others but I’m slowly changing my ways on a positive path, am I perfect? No. But, moving one step forward is better then one step backwards.

I know I may have answered my own question but I want the opinions of others as to why? Again, if you respond, don’t give bitter experiences based on guys act like this so fuck them! or girls act like this soo fuck them to! Come up with why you think it’s become like this and possible solutions to fix it. Forget the whole concept of male ego versus feminism…nothing good will come out of that either, just more pointless arguments. What do we are truly want? Loyalty, love, passion, sincerity, kindness.

The days of chivalry by guys are dead because guys assume what’s the point girls hate us. Girls will say, men are scum because they just want sex. These aren’t assumptions this is years of talks with guys and girls I’ve known and answering posts on Yahoo Answers, GAG and Reddit.
