As long as both are givers, rather than one continually taking from the other, this can be a very healthy relationship. A caring, loving partner can melt away excess stress, which is a factor in many illnesses. By melting away the excess stress, it gives our bodies the ability to cure itself. Understand this only works when the loving is unconditional. When conditions are attached, it generally backfires, leading to bitterness, resentment and conflict.
I disagree with this concept of unconditional love. If love were truly unconditional then cheating, abuse of all kinds would not be reasons to leave. If love is unconditional there would never be a reason to separate. All that other stuff you said I totally agree with.
Unconditional love doesn't mean being a doormat; it merely means not doing things just to get paid for it. A relationship is not employment. Cheating and abuse are never part of a healthy relationship. If your actions are manipulative to get material gain, then your actions are conditional.
Everyone looks for what is important to them in a relationship. They're not doing things in order to get what they want; they're doing things because this is the essence of who they are. If they discover the relationship isn't what they clearly stated they were seeking, they would have legitimate reasons to leave the relationship. You notice I said leave, not cheat. Just make sure you are clear from the start... not saying one thing yet meaning another. Expecting your cat to bark is unrealistic. See people as they are, not for the potential you believe they could or should be.
Yes, being clear from the start aka conditions. But anyway.
Being clear from the start is educating the other as to what works for us, not stating what the other should do. Always accept people as they are rather than focus on what you believe is or should be their potential. If a girl comes on to you, but you are straight, you're not laying any conditions on her if you tell her you're not interested in being romantically involved with women; you're just letting her know what works for you.
Yea it definitely helps but sometimes it hurts a lot more when the leave because they were motivating you and now it all gone so you will have a tendency to back track or go harder to prove a point. People react different to break ups but having that person there to keep you going and fix yourself Is a good feeling but doing it yourself will make you feel more independent and powerful than before a
A supportive partner can help smooth the bumps you're working through and ease rough patches. This partner can expose you to interpersonal opportunities you never considered or imagined. They can cheer you on and Open doors. This can facilitate changes you want to make. But only you can change your life.
Superb articulation!

My question---can it be an online friend?
Of course, the answer to your question is yes, but can you answer my question?
Sorry, more like an online relationship. Can that person be useful in healing too?
Online counts.
I am very grateful to have a caring and patient girl

I think they would be more a stabilizing presence than anything else, but even that can be an enormous help to someone who is suffering.
Yes, of course they can.
Sounds more so like looking for a partner to fix u
I think that's true for people in denial. But what about people who have identified their problems and are already working on them.
Yes, without a doubt.
