My boyfriend ignored my text for 13 days. He did not call or respond so I did not tell him happy birthday. Am I wrong?

My boyfriend completely ignored my text message for 13 days. I’ve told him that I feel like he doesn’t care about me several times bc he never calls or texts me to even check on me he finally texted me a couple days before his birthday July 23rd & I did not respond & did not tell him happy birthday. Am I wrong? I feel bad simply bc we went to Miami together for my birthday in May. It just sucks all around while he was ignoring my texts he was watching my Instagram posts. It’s so weird.

To clarify I paid for my expenses to Miami & he paid for his! I feel like crap every time I beg for him to call or text we barely even saw each other this summer bc of work, school & internships but a text takes 3 seconds & he didn’t care to call or text me. I always initiate & he responds but he never takes initiative.

I remember a girl did that to me once. I waited to hear back from her after I got her a Christmas present. She never called back, though she said she'd contact me. But never did. Getting a little concerned, I called to ask if everything was okay. It had been two weeks.

She went out of her way to be the meanest cunt imaginable. Basically, said she got a new job, didn't need me after all, told me I was "smothering" her, and then insinuated I was some sort of serial rapist, for no reason!

I have never forgotten how despicable she was. My anger at that phone conversation burns to this very day! The second she no longer needed a man, she turned cold-blooded.

Guess that job didn't work out. Found out later she got married. That poor man!

Did he say why at all? Maybe you care about him more than he does you? Or is something going on in his life that's serious (that would maybe help explain why?). If you want to continue this relationship (if you think he really does care at all about you?), have a serious talk with him and let him know communication is a must. He can't go 13 days not saying a word to you. If he needs space or something because something else is going on, then he needs to let you know this.

He did not say why. I didn’t ask I feel pathetic asking “why are you ignoring me?” The last text was me asking if f he’d help me with my hw I’m taking summer classes he has an internship I understand if he didn’t want to help he could’ve said no instead of ignoring me. Or at least changed the subject. A hey, how’s your day going anything but he chose to ignore me.

@Agagagagaga I’m not shocked there’s always that one person that desperately wants to be different. This is gag where people do not give a full synopsis just the main details of an experience. I asked him several times throughout our relationship why he does this I’m not wasting anymore time on him or you. Good for you! A friend of mine is gone with his family, but he let his girlfriend know that he'd be gone for a week and that he wouldn't be available on the phone. With clear communication like this you know he's taking the relationship seriously.

I doubt it he just doesn’t strike me as the type to have side action but anything is possible. Last time I saw him was a month ago his parents invited me over for dinner. They seem to love me. He told me he wanted me to be in his life forever during intimacy & then this happened. Anytime I mentioned his lack of communication he’d say we need time to miss each other but 13 days no contact is excessive in my opinion.
