My boyfriend hasn’t texted me for more than 3 days?

so basically my boyfriend of 2 months had an issue with his mom having to go to the emergency room, which led him to of course not texting me as much. completely understandable. of course family comes first and i firmly believe he’s telling the truth. he also is very busy with 2 heavy summer classes and a full time job, but i haven’t heard anything from him in the last 3 days. i don’t want to bother him by asking him if everything is okay, but i’m genuinely concerned that it might be over between us. i’m just kind of confused because things have been great recently. we go to the same college and are on summer break but have said the long distance thing is going to be fine, so far it has been. i’m just worried i maybe have done something wrong and he’s no longer interested? i might sound crazy since he clearly has a lot going on at the moment, but it isn’t like him to not text me for three days. i don’t know if it’s over or not.
