What does this mean and what do I do?

Recently my girlfriend has just been getting really quiet. I ask her what's wrong and she either doesn't answer or she says nothing. And anytime we're not together and I text her about anything besides coming over she just ignores me... Does this mean something bad? I don't know if I did something wrong, she won't tell me, and I don't know what to do to make things better

NGL, I'm currently doing this and It truly is a bad habit. It can be many reasons.
1. She's upset and doesn't know how to bring it to you.
2. Wants you to realize you messed up so she's using the silent treatment (Your not a mind reader) try to backtrack of what you said or did to her.
3. Emotionally immature
4. Just needs time to think, personal life can be hectic for her.

Meaning she doesn't know how to communicate her emotions. I noticed emotional immature people either use the silent treatment often OR anger. Part of me doesn't blame them. a lot of factors can contribute to emotional immaturity. Maybe she isn't doing it on purpose or maybe she told you how she felt but you didn't understand before?

She has talked about her emotions before but when she did she talked about us getting married, I leave for the navy soon and she wants to get engaged before I leave.

Ahhh I see. Do you Want to marry her? Even if she's upset she cannot do the silent treatment while your in the Navy. But yes she has to be scared of you leaving. Its going to turn into a long distance. Im in one. It's tough. So a lot of changes are about to happen so she's not ready for them.

I do want to marry her and I do plan on proposing before I leave for bootcamp. That would make sense I just don't know what to do to help

I would break it to her straight. Leave a voice message or maybe call her parents before you go to her house. She's thinking about the long distance. Both of your emotions have to stay stronger than ever right now And when u leave. Reason with her but be firm about the communication. Reassure her with the distance. She may feel like she's losing you (that's if she doesn't know you want marriage too)
