Just a thought I had while cooking up ramen. Seein Johhny D won his case against his ex, it made me think. We know men can be abused just like a woman and he doesn't need to have punch marks to look into said story. But what about a man with another man?

Abuse is abuse- and homosexual cases are particularly telling. With luck, the precedent Depp's case set will change some minds, but don't look for sweeping social change; this is VERY deep-rooted.

Women not getting the respect that men do extends to being respected *as a threat*, and domestic violence statistics bear that out: it's WAY more common among lesbians than among straight people, and even more among gay men.
