What is significant other versus boyfriend versus?
Abuse is abuse. It can be emotional, verbal, physical, etc.
im going for specifics. Apparently a friend of my wife thinks its domestic violence because her husband doesn't praise her for everything she does in the home. Her exact words "He is so abusive to me because he doesn't notice when i clean"
That isn’t abuse. That is a domestic problem. That’s ridiculous. The husband doesn’t need to thank for every little thing that should be done in a relationship. Should she praise him because he mowed the lawn or took out the trash?
Sure, it is nice to say thanks once in a while. My roommates do that. We all split chores but in the end I’m not going to thank them every time for pitching in. That isn’t abuse.
no disagreement. The man works 50 hours per week, Cooks all of their meals, and does all of the outside chores. And you're right he does thank her for what she does sometimes. just not every time. My wife explained all of this to her lol.
Yeah, the occasional thanks for that is great, but let’s not go overboard and call it abuse if it doesn’t happen every damn time. That’s nuts.
I must have some abusive roommates. XD
LOL Right!
