My guy best friend liked me a lot and waited for me for almost half a year but I didn't feel for n him that way, I told him so and he felt really bad even cried and after a few days even told me he couldn't get over me... today I got to know he made out with someone and I feel really sad why is it so?

Listen it's a little piece of jealousy because you are thinking what could've been clearly he gave you a shot but you wanted to deny because you don't feel that way just find someone you are actually interested in and move on no need to be so hurt and confused

I agree with the other comments. Emotions like jealousy come and go, often multiple times throughout a day. They don't mean you should always act on them. They don't always have deep meaning. You sit with them, and see which ones persist over time. You say you don't like him and that absolutely may be true, but maybe it might be helpful to think more about it. My friend tends to ask me a really helpful question when I'm thinking about a particular guy: do you think he'd be a good boyfriend? Attraction is important, but so is that question.
