I think you will meet lots of people who will enjoy your kind and soft nature. Seek out someone who is thankful. They don’t also have to be soft and gentle or submissive, but finding someone who is thankful for what they’ve earned in life and thankful for the people in their life is good for anyone. Don’t think that opposites attract, a hard and rough bad boy would not suit you well.
Remember to stand up for how you are and remind those around you but you don’t want to be walked on. You don’t have to do that in a angry manner, just gentle reminders

This is really going to depend on the person you are with. I am assuming you are mainly asking about a relationship. If your partner respects and loves you, they won't step all over you even if you are more the quiet and soft type.

Life, in general, you will meet lots of people that will try to take advantage of your docile nature. That is just the way it is. Unfortunate, yes. The best thing is just ignore those types of people that look to take advantage of your "soft" or kind nature.

Back to a relationship, this is something you can often learn from the start of dating someone. You should be able to feel out their personality reasonably well and determine if they are the type that will try to use your personality to their advantage or the type that respects you.

Definitely. My current girlfriend was like that when we first met. She got pushed around a lot and it stressed her out. I helped her learn how to set better boundaries and stand up for herself. There are nice people that will not take advantage of a soft and kind person. But, there are definitely mean or manipulative people who will take advantage of people like that as well. It’s best to reserve that side of you for those you can truly trust. Being docile and submissive makes you vulnerable—save that for your truest friends and relationships. You can still be kind without making yourself vulnerable to someone.
