Are y’all friends with people you’re attracted to?

Apparently some people have absolutely no attraction to their friends which I think is weird. I’m only friends with girls that I find attractive, otherwise I really just don’t see a reason to get to know them even if I only want to be friends.

I prefer to befriend people that I can control myself around. That doesn't make them unattractive as a whole. That makes them unattractive to me. If they’re attractive then houston we have a problem because I’m gonna catch feels and try to date the mf. If i find them attractive, I wouldn't friendzone them. And if we feel mutually for eachother and want something more then we can agree to get to know eachother in a friendly way first. So friendships vs being initially friendly is the difference for me. You sound like one of those “friends” who always had underlying intentions lmao

I'm not a fan of confusion. I don't let my eyes wonder if I'm with someone they are the only people who my eyes are on. Everyone else is just distraction. Sounds like you are afraid of getting hurt in some way. Busy movement is never good. Slow down and connect. If "Cute" is just something you like about them then fine but anything other than thatbis chaos.

I don't befriend people based on their looks. I base it on their personality. If they are a nice person and we have at least one common interest then I'd be friends with them.

My thing is though, that I won’t have a reason to talk to them unless I find her attractive. If I just go based on personality then how would I know who I want to be friends with out of the whole sea of people that are always around?
If I pick out the girls I find attractive and then go see their personality then it’s a much more streamlined process

I talk to people all the time. I'll start conversations with people while standing in line. I don't care where I am. I don't care if they are good looking or not.

That’s the difference I’m pretty quiet naturally so I’m very choosy about who I decide to talk to. Talking to a lot of people kills my social battery pretty quickly

Yes. We both are attracted to each other, but haven’t tried dating. He told someone that he was afraid that if we got together and it didn’t work out that I would hate him. He doesn’t know that I know this. I’m like boo, my last two ex’s, one cheated and tried to take my kids away legally and failed, the other was a throw money on you and everything should be ok and started making my kids feel unwanted. And I don’t hate them. Don’t deal with them but hate is a strong thing. And the one big difference is that we were friends first. That wasn’t so with the others.

Nope but I wouldn't be opposed to it since I know how to keep my feelings in check. But guys will always try to shoot their shot if there's an attraction which is endearing but annoying as hell most of the time. VALUE THE FRIENDSHIP OVER THE PEEN SOMETIMES. 😭

I treat everyone friendly of course but I talk to my best friend all day everyday and I never would’ve even started talking to her if I didn’t think she was cute

I slowly become attracted to my friends as I get to know them better. At least I think they're all pretty and sexy. Although it's probably just bias since they're my friends.
