Why do people find themselves compromising on wanting or not wanting kids?

It should be simple. How about finding someone that wants the same thing (like-minded) you want. Wanting or not wanting kids isn't something that can be compromised out of love and the passion. That's an enormous difference.

I've seen case of the woman always compromising and wasting her years on a man that never wanted kids. How about finding a man that wants kids?

Or cases of a man complaining about his girlfriend nagging about when will they have kids. If he knew she wanted kids, why even date her. How about finding a woman that doesn't want kids?

That's her fault for wasting those years. Plenty of people, believe it or not, do not ever want children or are unable to have any.

It's not for us to decide what when or if someone has children. Let that be between the couple.

People are already having children with people they barely even know.

I did not NOT want to have kids but it was not something that I absolutely wanted to do. My wife was more into the idea but now that we had them I am glad we did.

I think a lot of has to due with financial stablilty. I know a lot of young men and women that are having trouble making ends meet finacially, even if they live together or are married. Then they see how other families are struggling to get by and they decided maybe staying childless is better.

Exactly. Those people are wasting their time. Sex isn't going to solve huge incompatibiliies like that. That's only temporary pleasure and then they are back to reality.

I just can’t imagine being a couple who has a kid to try and fix their marriage. Like, you’re creating a new sentient mind that’s going to live in the world in the future, not just some accessory to your Family
