Personally it depends, like if he goes through my phone without asking I would break up but If he asks, I would probably give it but be suspicious why he is suspicious about me haha

generally I don't have a problem when my partner is using my phone, cause I have nothing to hide but that actually also never happened in a way of stalking or checking and more like in the sense of "oh my phone is charging, can I google something"

If you trust your partner there is no reason to go through their phone.

I'm not doing anything I shouldn't be, but there has to be trust and respect in a relationship.

I respect the privacy of the people I converse with, and they know that only I am reading our conversations. I'd be quite annoyed if I was having conversations with a friend that I thought were private and they let their partner read them.

Yes I let my mom go through my phone. She just checks YouTube recommendation, Photo Gallery and whatsapp texts. I hide other apps like Canva, Wattpad, Google Doc (so that my sister won't mess with it) and all those in 'Hide icon' option. She doesn't checks frequently now though. Very rarely. She checked more when I need got my phone. And my dad checks the internet and those stuff on my phone. In between I used Tab because my phone didn't worked. I somehow fixed it and since then my parents don't really go through my phone.

If my boyfriend ever asked to look through my phone, I just asked why… if I didn’t like the answer, or thought that he was being petty or jealous, I simply said sure, here I’ll trade you, your phone for mine! That way we BOTH get to invade the other’s privacy!
That usually made him realize that he was being unreasonable, and changed his mind!

Apart from very few emails, there's no messaging on my phone. It doesn't even receive phone calls, and it doesn't show notifications when it receives SMS.

I would not allow it. My phone is personal. Both notes, photos, search history, texts. If we were in a fight and just to prove them wrong I might. But otherwise I don’t cheat. Don’t expect them to cheat so no reason to look through phones. If can’t trust each other then what’s the point.

I always enjoy having my own life and I like my partner to do the same. I'd say if she wanted to use my phone for something like texting someone or fb then fair enough and then checked through my phone then fair enough but then she runs the risk of revealing any bday or Christmas gift surprises or surprise getaways I may have in store...

I’m the beginning our our relationship yes. But over the past 3 years we’ve been so dedicated to each other that there is no signs of possible cheating so we never really had a reason to continue to check each other’s phones. I personally still do because I have trust issues that will never go away
