Just be at peace when they want to do something on their own, whether it's reading a book or learning a new skill or exercise or whatever. If you don't put pressure or guilt on your partner when they need to carve out some time for themselves, they won't feel pressure and they will feel better about the time they share with you.

Understand that their need for their own time is not in any way a failure on your part - it's not something you should take personally, because we all need space and time to ourselves, and some people naturally need more than others.

This is such a stupid thing "space" what the heck does it even mean...
One should have understanding about their partner what they need when they need.

Go enjoy your own hobbies by yourselves. You don't need to be attached at the hip all day, it's not healthy.

For example, if she wants to play a game by herself, I walk outside and do something I enjoy. Thus we get space even though we live together

It's quite easy unless the house is very small or only has 2 rooms.
If one is in the living room, the other can be in the bedroom or even outside with this nice weather.

      Everyone is different.
I get enough time apart at work or helping my kids with their homework.

I don't think is good to be constantly breathing on each other's neck.

Fair enough, but work and kids do that for us.
I hope you find your middle ground.
      Good luck.
