What to do if your relationship got boring?

Me and my s/o been together 7yrs almost and well we’ve been pretty broke and struggling for months and I’m assuming it’s taken a toll on the relationship he’s miserable and constantly complains etc about it and I’m just trying to stay positive til things get better and it seems that now are relationship is suffering. We both have nothing to talk about anymore and can’t go anywhere cause my cars broke down at the moment and I don't know what to really do to fix things.
