Yeah I would say it is true, and the real truth is that its not even manipulation on the women's part... most guys will tell you that they want good sex, good food, and good talks... and if a women treats a man right he will go out of his way to treat her right.

I agree but I would add to that. Demand respect! No guy respects a doormat. And this is not confusing. It's simply knowing your boundaries, what your willing to accept from someone. Believe it or not we teach people how to treat us. The right guy will stick around. The wrong guy won't (and women should be thankful of that).
