Yes I’ve done so twice. The first time was more so of my escape from a toxic workplace, a toxic family, and multiple toxic relationships. I went to Vegas and had a blast. I shopped til I dropped but didn’t gamble as much as i wanted. I also enjoyed the pools and I tried clubbing but its just not my thing. I enjoyed the scenery and guys would approach and flirt but I was a little guarded because I didn't have anyone there with me and didn't want to get snatched up lol. The second time was me going to North Carolina to job and apartment hunt. My return flight happened the same day that all the airports shut down for covid. It was kinda scary but I still enjoyed the trip. I saw a few places and I went to a concert to see my early 2000s baes. The food in both states was honestly disappointing and lacked the flavor of the deep south. But the overall atmospheres in both places were much better than here. I’m trying to avoid visiting AU, Bahamas, Orlando, Tampa, Aspen and NY alone but I think I’d like to visit Canada, Miami, and Nashville alone.
No, we are generally with the family or us or with friends… there have been lots of times when I have alone time with or without hubby or kids… they can be with family. We also don’t get very attached..: kids have lots of freedom… so I am not tired by them. More stressed with work.
I've took quite a few solo vacations when I was single. Most were road trips. My longest solo vacation was flying to Washington DC from LAX and then renting a car. I spent a week seeing everything possible in the city, as well as historic sites in Virginia. I couldn't have squeezed as much in if I had been with someone. The trip was outstanding.
I've never taken a solo vacation since I've been married or when I was in a relationship. My wife has taken some solo trips to visit her family in Cincinnati. She has also gone on some two day retreats.
Yes and yes. I've taken many solo vacations. I've also taken them while in a relationship.
I do have a preference to travel with someone else, but it's not a big deal traveling alone. Altogether I've done several months of traveling alone.
I think the trick with you is giving your family a reason why you want to go alone. When I've done it, I just went. It was not a big deal and nobody questioned it. Hopefully you can think of a good way to approach the subject and they will all be OK with it.

Most of my vacations are solo, actually. You don't have to coordinate it with someone else, and you are free to go where you want. In fact I was just on a solo trip last week.
I was in a program at work that included a retreat. I had to go by myself. I think it was the first time I was away without my wife that did not involve being in the hospital. It was not as much fun as I thought it would be.
I went for a solo vacation for my 30th birthday while I was with my now ex who was quite cool at the time but I was having a bit of a crisis about not living enough. Vacation was slightly boring but not terrible.
Solo vacations were & will always be my favorite because I wing it & anything goes & I don’t have to worry about anyone other than myself.
I've taken *many* solo vacations. My wife did not travel well. Most vacations I've taken were after her passing.
I went to Camp Wyldewood for 11 days and I enjoyed it.
Actually currently thinking about getting a hotel room for a week, just to be alone.

When I was single, after my divorce (and before I was seriously dating anyone), I took a few solo vacations, visiting places I'd never been to. It was fun being on my own, being able to choose to do what I wanted when I wanted.
I did yeah! I had a great time... and used it to have some lovely one-night stands with some amazing men.
Many moons ago after a break up. Went to Tunisia 🇹🇳 and had an ace time thanks to some Dutch people I met

go to Disney World you can take your hubby just go to different parks and enjoy your solo time there but be together at night or if you want to lay at the pool
No relationship but I went on a 6 day hike and camp, primitive camping. Was fun
I have taken more then a few solo vacations over the years. Loved them all & will do it again.
I did but it wasn't solo for long. About three days in I got a very welcome passenger.
