Will he break up with her one day?

So there is this guy I really like and unfortunately he has a girlfriend, but I was only seeing him because he was in a long distance open relationship at the time. Now he is in Spain with her traveling, where she was studying abroad and they are coming back to the states next week.
I asked him if he loved her while we were spending time together and he said yes , but doesn’t see himself with her long term because she doesn’t want kids and he does. I wondering if he is going to keep wasting time with her waiting for her to change her mind or something, but you can’t force that on someone. They are eventually going to be long distance again when she goes back to school in August like 6 hours away. Will he ever break up with her because of that?

I just want to have a chance with him, but I’m scared I won’t see him again because he is with her right now and I don’t think they are a good match.

There is nothing says they won't be together forever and if he sees you on the side what makes you think he won't do the same to you one day if you two were together in the future it's time to stop wasting your time there are lots of good guys out there do find one that is not attached
