Are you still capable of real love?

The kind that adults usually abandon, the kind teens tend to have for eachother in highschool, where their company, their time, their affection, and their relatibility is all you need from your SO?

Most adults today treat an SO like a tool. They try to justify spending time with them or caring for them based on them being a utility, instead of a source of joy like it should be.

I am not a victim of such a jaded mentality, I still want (and can give) the real thing, and I was curious who else in their 20s and older thinks this way.
