Why can't fake nice people just be nice for real ?

why do manipulative fake people who seem nice not just be the nice person you think they are? Why pretend to be nice instead of just being nice

Because fake nice people are not really nice. They're manipulating, there is nothing nice about that. It's why I hate salesman-type people, bums, government, and anybody that just wants something for no reason other than getting what they want.

Because they are insecure. They are nice to those who they trust but for others they think if they are real they will be rejected.

I'm was friends with a guy, and I've found out he's not the nice person I thought he was. Just wish he was the person he pretended to be, because I'd look on him as a friend fur life of he was. Now my guard is up because I no longer trust him.

Probably because they don't see anything wrong in what they're doing. Look at a majority of the women on here who routinely manipulate men. They always can justify it in some way. It never even occurs to them what they're doing might be wrong.
