Why does it happen?

Why every person who loves us chases us in the beginning like anything (whether we give the love back or not). But as soon as you start caring for the person and get into a fucking relationship. A serious commitment, you just get to cry every single time. Why do people choose to treat us like shit after a certain period, when the same person treated us like we own the world or something

I know that by human nature, some men/women prefer the thrill of the chase.

There's a lot of scientific theories about this, saying that the chase stimulates some chemicals in the brain, thus causing excitement and thrill.

And others say that people always want what they don't have. So when they finally get it, it's not as thrilling.

I'd say however, that the chase stage is normal. Like some kind of courtship, and once two people get together in s relationship is normal that there's no need to chase anymore.

But to treat their partner like shit... That's not excusable.

I wouldn't forgive that.
