If you ask just about any Christian my greatest sin is pride.

I think I might just list one achievement per stage of my life so far that I am proud of or at least used to be proud of.

As a baby I almost never cried literally almost never and I am quite proud of that not for any specific reason I just think that’s pretty cool that I have a baby wasn’t crying and whining annoying pest.

When I was around four years old they had my head ripped open by a pitbull and I had to have my Scalp stapled shut so I have two small scars on both my eyebrows and one massive scar on my forehead and the reason I’m proud of this is because despite the fact that I was literally bleeding everywhere I was actually fairly calm I say fairly calm because it was Very scary at least for that first day after that though the annoying part wasn’t that I had my head ripped open it was the fact that I wasn’t allowed to pull out those staples which were really bugging me.

In grade school they always had us doing these competitions every year where everyone in the grade school would have to compete In athletic competitions they weren’t really anything that big it was mostly just runningIn athletic competitions they weren’t really anything that big it was mostly just running, jumping and throwing Well anyways I won two 2nd place ribbons, a 3rd placed ribbon and a 1st place for something I can’t remember.

In middle school we had people from different professions talk about what they do and I was lucky enough to hold a conversation with a nasa engineer over a Skype call with the class, well me and one other student actually got high praises from him because of our knowledge and ability to understand things he brought up. (So for context I grew up being competent in every subject that wasn’t math but had a particularly high aptitude in science and linguistics while the other student was a walking Thesaurus who seemed like he could Recite the dictionary from memory)

In high school I saved a few people from a fire and more importantly didn’t hit my half sister after she accused me of starting it Because oddly enough it was much more stressful dealing with my Half sister’s BS than it was running into a burning building. I should note that I only needed to run in for one person because I was able to wake everyone else up and they were able to get out on their own but still.

I turned 18 during Covid so I haven’t had the opportunity to have accomplishments as an adult or at least not nearly as many but that said During Covid my social anxiety had become more severe But that said I did find out I was able to throw One of those really big window air conditioners any effort And I’m talking about one of those air conditioners that’s bigger than your torso buy a decent amount. Even then I don’t even think that was my most impressive feat of strength as an adult because I just remembered one other thing that I did that actually tops that quite easily. So during the winter it snowed quite a bit and so I decided to make a giant snowball and when I say a giant snowball I mean it was larger than my torso and I was able to pick it up about 3 or 4 inches before it had shattered from its own weight. Keep in mind that I did all this while dehydrated and hungry. You see at that point I was really broke and didn’t have much money while the place I was living in also didn’t have running water or at least it didn’t have running water that was safe to drink so I had to buy water from Walmart which costs money and I was poor very poor.

recently, all of the 30 middle school students that were assigned for me to tutor and help them recover from failed grades and/or to catch up with their subjects... they all approved and passed their tests and are moving on to the next grade, and they won't need more tutoring next year, they can go on their own... and I that's a very good and rewarding feeling

I spent a lot of night hours working into it, lol.. most of the time I am here at G@G I am also working on those tasks or my actual job

Well done! I have great admiration for teachers (educators). When I was in school, we treated our teachers like kings. We admired them and had so. much appreciation for them. I will never forgot all of my teachers and how they shaped me.

I have not achieved it yet, I want to get a graduate degree and become a famous author and sponsor philanthropic projects around the world by expanding my writing income into investment interests that become self sustaining cash cows. I even had a dream telling me how to do it.

Congrats! I lost over 100 pounds but there are things that I miss. I miss that full feeling. I miss going to a buffet and stuffing my mouth full - I sure did get my money's worth! I miss eating all those sugary and crazy snacks. I miss eating all that ice cream. When I gained 100 pounds people stopped judging me. Before I gained it, people would complain about me saying I need to build more muscle.

@Bob92220 don’t listen to the negative. I know you’ll miss the food and junk but you can still eat them but in moderation. I went on holidays in Europe had a buffet breakfast for a week. Didn’t gain a pound 😂

Since I completely stopped eating all that junk food, if I try a taste of a cookie or ice cream, it tastes like sand. I did start going back to a salad buffet, but I only have one plate with a glass of water. I've done it once a week for several weeks and I only gained one pound.

How long has it been since you lost all that weight?

@Bob92220 im not sure if you guys noticed but there's a bit an incel mgtow community on this site that love nothing more than to shame women on here. They are a bunch of losers who just can't get over the fact that they got rejected over and over again and rather than changing their approach and mindset they decide ‘no its womens fault in general for why im not getting laid lol.’ A lot if them are major hypocrites too because rather than actually going their own way they focus their energies on watching and hoping a woman fails badly especially when they get older and it confirms to them that they were right all along. But then when an older woman doesn’t fit snugly in their narrative they gotta attack her with slander.

Anyways long rant aside: fuck the haters lol. Im out.

I had a karate kid like moment during a match in a martial arts tournament years ago.

when I threw my kick it was so perfectly executed that the entire crowd went wild including a lot of esteemed masters.

I lost the fight but I gained the respect of a lot of strong people so it was still a win in my book and I won like 12 medals that day to.

another moment I’m proud of was a saved a newborn animal that had been born that day or the day before from dying. She had fallen off her mother and abandoned and was crying when I found her so I took her home watched over her all night and took her to a shelter in the morning.

Took maths two grades above my own in middle school. That is, when I was in the sixth to eighth grade, I took eight to tenth grade Algebra I, geometry, and Algebra II respectively.

Won a Hallowe’en costume contest, as Jack Sparrow.

Parodied a few infamous songs into my own poems (Money to Don’t Believe in Money, Brain Damage to Mental Disorder, Us and Them to They and We, and even Eclipse to Meet Your Meat).

Learned Russian, English, American, Pig Latin, half of Spanish and German, and a few words and phrases in Hebrew and Japanese and Italian and Arabic.

Learned to do one-handed push-ups (like 60, once in a break).

Got 100% on an English exam (English ain’t my best subject).

    Wove headbands and a kufi.

Got a few girlfriends when I’m very introverted.

I recently completed my Catechism courses and was consecrated by a man who has a chance (slim though it might be) of becoming pope.

And I don't know if I'd consider this an "accomplishment", but I was tremendously honored last week when a friend of mine asked me to be his soon-to-be firstborn's godfather.

    Let's see

I paid for every car and truck I have ever owned with cash, I never had a car loan to payback

I also bought my farm with some cash, some trade and with a land contract. That to with no loan. 5 more years and farm is paid off. Nice thing about land contracts, no closing cost, just a small filing fee to keep things legal

I learned how to dance, when I thought I'd never be able to do it. I learned pole dancing, country dancing and ballroom dancing.

I also self taught myself MSSQL basic's and can do some pretty mediocre programming with it, also learned HL7 really well and how to manage a bunch of guys smarter than me.

Giving birth without an epidural, I had to be induced as he was a week late & from the time they broke my water to my son being born it wasn't even 2 hours. I'd do it again too if it means Im not in labor for 12+hrs like some people who had had epidurals have!

I’m sitting here thinking I’ve achieved nothing I’m proud of in my life.
    My life:
    Learned multiple instruments
    State wrestling qualifier
    Eagle Scout
    Veteran / combat
    Became a EMT saved lives..
Search and rescue vertical and whitewater open water lifeguard etc.
    Climbed a route 5.12b
Became a triathlete 5th in my age group multiple events
    College degree
    High level of management
Sadly I’m not proud of any of it I rather have done them than not but proud I’m not.

I developed a meditative and mindful lifestyle.

    I gave up porn.

I lost close to 100 pounds.

I've changed my belief system about certain things.

I've made a lot of wise financial investments.

I've spent the money to buy some new technology that helps me in life. For example, I invested in an iRobot. I've never had such clean floors before.

I've dodged a lot of bullets from women.

Everyone here will talk about big accomplishments especially the men. However, when the covid hit, everyone was shut in and being single wasn't easy. To get through that period, I started creating art and found out it was a great source of satisfaction. It has been two years and I keep improving my art skills. I have no plans to be a professional artist but I love what i get from art.

When becoming a teacher, I passed my CBEST, multiple subjects CSET, and RICA on the first attempt. Very few teachers can say that. Most of them fail those tests multiple times. Only 2 other teachers in my whole district of 450 teachers have accomplished that. I am the third.

When I was a kid, I won a few marathons for children. Was the best student from elementary all through high school.
And the most important one. Whenever I was mentioned in a convo, my parents never had to bow their heads, and could hold their heads up high.

Recently I found a young woman sat at a roadside trying to take her own life. I sat with her until help arrived. We just talked random stuff. It was the most frightening thing I've ever done. I'm not experienced or trained, i do have a lot of empathy for others though. Anyway, she is still alive to this day. I dont tell many people about this but it still haunts me sometimes.

@Sparkie460 Yes, she knew. One of my ex-sisters lived 2 miles away and would only show up for a few hours a week, mostly screaming her head off at the bullshit she'd been going through at work! Mom didn't need that shit!! she had a damn stroke and she was actually in tears a few times having to deal with those rants!! The other bitch lived 4 hours away and couldn't make time to come see mom but, she'd drop EVERYTHING AND RUN to her MOTHER-IN-LAW'S side in a HEARTBEAT!! She used to live right next door to us and was now with one of her daughters, I think, a few miles away from us! I mean, mom would be on the phone asking my ex-sister to come help with or that but she just COULDN'T make it!! However, Fran would call her up and say SHE needed help with something trivial and that bitch was here like a shot the next day!!! Only THEN, would she come over to help mom!!

@Guardian45 Mine was in the hospital bed in the dining room and I went up to bed, probably around 3:00. Mom came up around 5;00 or so top wake me and tell me that he died. He was actually doing pretty well and then they gave him a drop of morphine for the pain and he was gone within 12 hours! I've heard how that's what kills them!! I cried like a baby at the funeral and can hardly ever hear this song again without crying! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WdzjmLsBvyA
Sadly, at mom's funeral, I was getting so severely fucked over by my ex-sisters (one even started an argument AT THE CASKET with a very long-time family friend!!), I just didn't have it in me to cry!!

@Blackcosmo Thank you! And, they are not!! They are rotten, greedy, evil, nasty people!! They stole from mom!! One would cash her monthly checks for her and immediately run to the store and blow over $100 on groceries for herself without even asking!! The other would cash the checks and refuse to give them to mom!! This was the bible thumper!!
At mom's funeral, one started an argument with a family friend right there at the casket!! The other threatened to have the police remove mom's sister from the funeral home!!
Maybe later, I'll tell you all the nasty shit they did to me!!
Another thing I'm quite proud of is, if I went to the store, mom would insist I take a 20 from her purse. Just to avoid arguing with her about it, I'd grab a 20, go to the store and buy what I went for with MY money and, the next time I carried her into the bathroom, I'd take that same 20 and put it back in her purse!! I probably "used" that same bill a dozen times!!

I have honed my skills in backstabbing and manipulation to climb the corporate ladder and increase company revenue by 16 million, thus securing a position which requires me to do absolutely nothing but be a demanding prick.

It's nothing special, really. In large companies, it only takes a small maneuver to capitalize on an opportunity. 99% of people show up to work just to get their paycheck, so all you do is make them feel good and productive.

I wouldn't say climbing the ladder means you have to be a dick as a prerequisite. Being there myself, its just means you have to be ambitious, motivated, have vision, seeing how peoples' different personalities can contribute to a successful team, recognizing hard work, and confident. you're right, a majority of workers just show up and go home. So to them, people who climb the ladder seem like "dicks" because they have nothing to better themselves.

I built a life and a path different from what my family had wanted for me and in a country far far away from them. It’s not been easy, but I’d do it over and over and over again if I had to. No regrets.

I go to a huge liberal University and I heard about that story. I don't know if that was you or not.
A lot of women are that way, especially those crazy feminists.

About that librarian, A man walks into a library and says to the librarian, “Do you have that book for men with small penises?” The librarian looks on her computer and says, “I don’t know if it’s in yet.” The man replies, “Yeah, that’s the one!”

I tried playing baseball in junior high and high school but I was cut from the team three years in a row. I got so mad after the third time that i marched into the coaches office and demanded to know why. He didn't even try to hide his obviously biased attitude.
