My girlfriend keeps asking for my ig password?

Whenever my girlfriend and I are texting she randomly starts asking for my password to my Instagram, and when I tell her no she starts being dry and stops responding, then starts telling me the relationship won’t go any further and she’ll be with someone else if I don’t. (Any advice on why she’s actin like this?)

There is zero reason for her to have your password, it might just be a ploy to get into your other accounts if you use the same or similar passwords for everything.

If she keeps threatening to leave you because of this, then be the one to leave her. This is not a good relationship to be in if she doesn't respect your privacy.

She has nothing to do in your account, even if your account is "clean" there's no reason to let her get into everything just because she's insecure and wants to. She acting dry after you saying no to something like that is a red flag in my opinion, a girl who tries to get what she wants not caring about your opinion. She'll act happy once you give her your password, what will she ask next and throw a tantrum for?
