Cis people of G@G, how do you feel about the derogatory word "cissy"?

Cissy is like tranny, but a slur for cis people instead if trans people.

I've heard the term before and thought it was just dumb honestly, but I think we'd all be better off just not calling each other names. I get that there are just gonna be those people on both sides that hates the other, but the names are pretty much childish.

The fact that there is now a term for what ten years ago was a normal person is silly as it is. There's that.

But now, in order for this "insult" to work, I'll have to see it typed out. If an insult has to be typed out in order for it to work, well, it doesn't. If someone says it vocally, I'll hear "sissy", which loses its offensive capacity about halfway through kindergarten. Either way, I'm just going to roll my eyes and carry on.

Cissy, cis and cisgender are all slurs because it’s so easy to demean and attack people by using it. If you want to call yourself a slur go right ahead. It’ll be funny when someone uses it at you and you end up confused.
