What are some indicators that a man is inexperienced when it comes to being in relationships?

Perhaps they have had very intense puppy love or a steady girlfriend in school but not a mature adult relationship.

In a relationship, a couple often becomes comfortable with each other in the early goings, things are easy and happy. If there is tension early on, that can mean he’s not fully aware of how to adapt to his new found love. It could be an indicator of other issues as well, but this would be something I would look for if I were to starting a relationship.

Not understanding how to stand up or negotiate for himself would certainly be a flag as well.
