Liars Forget they Also Try to Alter the memories of there Victims So that they can continue There Manipulations. They tend to say stuff like I feel and they tend to agree or give compliments and they will tell you How much they care about You and ask you Questions to get A grasp of what’s in your mind so They have more to go on With there manipulations they will also Lead you on saying I will pay you back for what I owe you then they will change there stories and try to make it seem like What happened never happened and That is called gas Lighting someone trying to Alter there memory of what actually happened.

I think a guy who I thought was my best friend has been lying to me, I confronted him once and he came up with an excuse that was good but I noticed another lie in that excuse. The thing is he's so sweet to me and such a good person that I doubt of my perception of him and feel bad for doubting of him. I finally came up to the conclusion that he does lie, but maybe is a problem he has and he doesn't do it with bad intentions, because his lies are just stupid things not worthy of lying about.

My godson lied to me tonight several times

Damn Probably best to not let him know you know he lied Keep Letting him lie to you without doing anything
And Use that to work on Why he lies and for what benefit or No benefit at all
He could be a pathological Liar Just study his Behavior and maybe document it
And eventually Question him about it don’t tell him you documented all his lies but questioning his lies through logic will give you the ability or enhance your current lie detection ability so that when he lies you automatically know why he lies And What benefit he gets from it whether it’s to inflict pain or Gain power over another.
