My ex won't let me follow him on Instragram but won't unfollow me?

Me and him broke up over a year ago and he dumped me. He then attempted to reconcile and followed me on Instragram but he wouldn't let me follow him back. He still follows my friends and watches my story but won't let me follow him. He keeps dodging the question when I ask why. What does it mean?

block him. he is reserving you. when he gets tired of meeting new girls and can't find the right one to replace you, he will get back to you. but he might leave you again when he finds a woman he likes. sorry for the bluntness but some guys are really like that. they like to play. :/ block him please. he wants to follow you to confuse you and so he can see who likes and comments on your photos. so he can get updated. so if for example he sees a guy (s) commenting on you and likes your photos or if you have photos with guys, he will act like an immature guy and get jealous and mess your head. you're not the problem. HE IS. if he wants you, he will still be with you. he wants to hide his profile so he can hide what he wants to hide

I would delete him. I’m not a fan of double standards, and there’s no way he should be able to view my life but I can’t view his. It’s possible that he’s hiding something, maybe a girl who comments often on his pics or someone he’s with/interested in. Still, that has nothing to do with you.
