My girlfriend is not at all needy or I doubt lose that spark in the relationship. How can I test or what can I do?

2.5 years relationship. What made me say that is..

1. She lives in a women's hostel. She's mostly busy with college and friends and put very little effort to find time to talk.

2. When at home during holidays, she mostly spend time by chatting with the same friends (females) at college. And when i talk about this, she just ignores it playfully.

I know that she love me. But doubt if the freshness has lost. how to know if she really lose that excitement?

Well if she truly loves you she would still have that excitement but anyway I get the she’s busy with college and friends part. When she’s home though she doesn’t spend a lot of time with you? Honestly if your not cool with that and she doesn’t address it I would say you deserve a better girlfriend.

Thanks bud. She spend very less time even when at home. She just kept on saying ok ok ok when i talk about this and finally said "i love you".

It doesn’t sound like she’s unhappy or anything like that she’s just busy with school and friends. If you haven’t tried talking to her about this then maybe you should, because there’s a good chance she doesn’t even realize you’re upset or feel ignored if you aren’t telling her.

So she was being dismissive, which isn’t ok. If you’ve already tried communicating and she feels that way then maybe you guys need some time apart. Being in a relationship myself I hate to suggest a breakup, but it is so very important to feel heard by your partner and have your feelings acknowledged. Who knows what’s happening in her mind, she could be enjoying her freedom or may even be growing apart from you, but nonetheless you should have a happier dynamic and maybe time apart will give her the space to process how your feeling and decide if she wants to save what you two have.

I’m not sure how your behavior is in your relationship to say you’re needy, but from what you’ve written it doesn’t sound needy, just a boyfriend who wants to feel like a priority in his partners life and not getting it.
