Why do guy always come to me for advice about relationships, but never seem to want one with me?

Almost all my guy friends are cute, and they like to play flirt games and stuff, but it seems like they only want to talk with me seriously about their relationship problems. Sometimes they just want to talk about how they feel being single. It gets so annoying because they won't ask me out. They only seem to want me for advise, but then what's with all the flirting? Can I please get a guy to tell me what's going on here (girls can put advise too)? I'm so confused.

Because you're in the friend zone.

Basically, you're a guy's girl & they only see you as a buddy. You got this way be being too jokey & not girlie enough around dudes. You probably have way more guy friends than girls & relate to guys better, but now you're screwed. Don't bother trying to date any guys within your circle unless you know for sure he has a crush on you (based on how he acts & if he tells a mutual friend of yours). Meet a crush and start fresh with how you act around him is my best advice.

Yes. Makeup too. & don't burp/fart/engage in dirty jokes around guys unless you want to be just their friend.

I disagree with that, but that's also because I kinda like tomboys :P ones that can be friends and play games with and whatnot. If anything it's more because the guys think you aren't interested in them or never were. Sure there are some that probably think of you as just a friend, nothing can be done about that.

So I dunno, Tia could be right, but they could be like me and think you're just not interested so don't bother. Hard to say without knowing the guys o.o

Well Tia could be very right and they just don't see her as anything relationship-wise which is a big shame to me because tomboys can be so cute and fun to be around. The ones I tend to find aren't like "farting drinking smoking macho 'look at my penis'" girls but more like... girls who happen to not bother with make up (natural ftw), enjoy what's typically "guy" oriented (video games, technology/sciences, etc) and have some guy personality traits like bluntness and whatnot. It's appealing :P

Well just be who you're comfortable being. If you want to work on your looks or whatever or be more girlie girl than that's fine too. No big deal. Just make sure it's what you want. Some guy who is actually interested in you will come along fine. Just make sure if you're interested you show it or even say it yourself.

i have tons of guy friends most of my friends are guys, I joke; play sports etc... & it never stopped them from hitting on me, are wnting a relationship.

don't tell her its her personality. that's lame. maybe you just don't click with them. no guy is going to like every single girl. just like you don't want all your guy friends.

QA let yourself meet a guy who likes you not change to meet a guy it is not sustainable. don't fix yourself to find someone.its attractive if you are comfortable with yourself.

u guys all have really good points of view and the advise is really good :) I just think some (not saying whos) is more reasonable than others and hey ill find someone who likes me eventually :)

try and;

tell the guy you like the most your feelings towards him

or become more flertatious with one of them (do it to more than one and it'll probably be mistaken for being playfull)

seems like most of those guys see you as a friend, not particularly a person to get into a relationship with. depends on the guys what you should do... try flirting with them more. or just ask one of them out. xD. guys like it when girls take initiative.
