Is it possible to have a normal life in this world?

I want to work but do not want to work too hard

I want to exercise but do not want to exercise too hard

I want to help others but not so much it endangers my life

I want a guy who is attractive but not so high status he will cheat on me

I want to be a good future wife and mother but don’t want to devote 14 hour days to child care

I want to be conservative with spending, but still go on vacation a few times a year, I do not want to live like a homeless ascetic

There's an old saying "If you don't have a plan for your life, someone else will".

To corporations, employers, and the gov't you're just a resource to be used and exploited. I busted my ass for the past 25 years in the hopes that eventually I could leave all of it behind. People would always ask me, "what do you do". And I always would respond, "I'm in the business of (my name) and what I do is a furthering of that. I retired last year (earlier than I intended). I'm sure I'll most likely go back to work. Because while I technically am in a position financially to stay retired atm, I don't like leaving anything to chance.

I guess I'm saying this because life doesn't come with GUARANTEES.

I've never been afraid to work. But as you get older you can't work like a 20 year old anymore. Even if mentally you're still willing.

God gave Adam and Eve Eden. It may have been paradise. But they still had to tend to the garden. I guess what I'm saying is God EXPECTS us to do our best. He'll never saddle us with something we're incapable of surmounting (and there has been many a time where I've prayed to God saying I know that, but could he help give me the strength to see through what I need to). Last year was a difficult year for me. But God got me through it. Because through adversity we grow. We learn what we're capable of. Do your best and just trust that God will be there right beside you. God says "ask and it'll be revealed to you". Last year I prayed, and prayed, and prayed some more and felt like I wasn't getting an answer. The answer comes, just not always the way we expect nor on the timeliness we want.

What is your definition of normal? You will always be crazy to someone and normal to another. When I was younger, I envied those whose parents had a good relationship, but as I grew older, and actually started making friends, I realized that nobody's life is "normal" or "perfect". It makes sense that we live in a chaotic world because of the number of people that inhabit this planet along with us. Things are bound to get crazier, lol.

What do you mean by you do not want to work too hard? Do what you are passionate about, because there is no such thing as working too hard when you have a goal in life. An aim to achieve. I would advice against exercising too much, actually. If you are a beginner, start with easy ones and then slowly build up your work out routine.

Just because someone has power or wealth does not mean that they will always misuse it. Even an unattractive man or someone who is of a middle class background can also cheat on you. It only reflects badly on their character. If you want to be a mother, then you have to accept the consequences and the responsibilities that come with it. Not everyone deserves the "mother" title. Being a mother always entails taking care of your children and making sure they have a good life. Being a father entails that, too. Child care is not a 10 hour or a 14 hour job, it is 24/7. My parents are both surgeons and they never spent much time with me, growing up. I don't really feel close with them, but I know for a fact that they worked very hard to provide a good life for my brother and I.

I'm not a cheapskate, but I am cautious with financial matters, and my parents are too. We do not live like hermits, and they take us on vacations every year.

I think it is normal for us to live in such a chaotic crazy world and i think probably the folk that boast about being normal are probably either some kinda crazy and or just dont know (brainwashed) how truly twizted the world (humans) have/has become and live believing lies our entire lives.
And yes i believe it is possible to live a normal life in this crazy world because it is normal for us all to do such a thing.
