My friend seems to like a guy when she has a boyfriend?

Asking for my friend as I don’t really know how to help her.

She has a boyfriend for over 3years now and she recently told me she's been trying to “platonically” reconnect with a guy she used to like. Anyways, she told me every couple of months she will reach out to that guy to see if he wants to call or hangout (behind her boyfriend back).

Recently, they did call each other and she said that the she told the guy she has a boyfriend of over 3years, and that she gets “bored” sometimes.

I don’t think the guy likes her back. And I think she’s burning both her relationship with her boyfriend and this guy.

She’s asking for help/venting. And I’m not sure what to really do.

I think you tell her to consider her feelings for her current boyfriend. The other guy is not really the prob. if the romance died in their relationship they don't try anything new and basically live in a routine no wonder she gets bored. On top of that if there are no red flags with her boyfriend she must feel comfortable. So why ruin something that's not bad? Bad if you are bored I think your should friend has to consider what she wants for her life.
