I have mixed feelings about this one. I am not sure if I want to have my own biological kids yet. Kids do like me, but also test my patience. I have a short temper, and my patience is even shorter, so I’m not sure if having kids would be a good idea.

I’m also worried that I would make a terrible mother and the thought of carrying another human being inside me for 9 months freaks the heck out of me. Raising a kid is a huge responsibility, I can’t say that my parents did their jobs well. I would just like to concentrate on getting good grades for now and then, maybe in a couple years down the line, if I ever find someone who loves me back and accepts me the way I am, I might consider having kids with them.

I would most likely adopt though.

Aww, you must have a rough story. I didn't know that though. The way you express yourself makes everyone believe that you came from a healthy household. But it is what it is.

Give yourself time about your short temper etc. It's all good :) maybe in near future your opinion might change later on.

My grandmother and brother raised me for the most part. Never really liked my house, always preferred my grammy’s.

I'm 21 and have no children of my own, but my boyfriend has a five year old son and I have 4 younger siblings I help take care of a lot! It makes me wonder if I'll ever be ready to have my own kids. I want to be emotionally, and financially ready, but I don't know if I ever will be emotionally
