Should I stay single?

I have these feelings of how being single is better than being in a relationship but then I have the opposite feeling. Why do I think this way? I made a goal for myself that if I can’t find a girlfriend by the time I’m 30, I am going to give up and be single forever. Am I messed up for thinking like this?

You are saying this as someone from US? Go to a strip club, go out with your friends. Tell them you are looking for a relationship see if they can hook you up. Or use a dating app. Get what you want. You have so much privlige to do so. There are countries where you'd be killed for doing stuff like that..

Single vs. relationship which is better no one can answer that for you, it's personal preference. For me, I think being single is better than being in a relationship with the majority of people. But there are women, who for me, it's better being in a relationship with them than it is to be single. But those women are not common, and so far even those best women for me, the relationship doesn't last forever, so I just move on and am single again.

I actually don't mind this style of life, it's kind of nice to be on my own for a bit, then to be bonded and intimate for a bit. Kind of like how I enjoy traveling now and again, but I don't spend my entire life on the move. Or how I might enjoy a delicious meal or some time with friends and family, but I don't eat constantly the same thing, nor do I invite my loved ones to move into my home and live with me.

As for your vow to find someone by 30, I think it's a bit silly. I would just stop worrying so much about the situation, focus on enjoying your life. Invest in being the best person you can be, with a comfortable and fulfilling life. If someone comes along that fits into that life you're making, then okay, that's part of the life. If not, then okay, that's not part of the life.
