Is ok if I'm dating someone 3 years older?

OK my boyfriend is 3 years older than me but I love him to death. I take control when he wants to go farther and I don't. he won't push it he waits for me and doesn't pressure me to much. as an outsider do you find it wrong? if you saw a older guy with a younger girl? what would you think? I'm 15 and he's 18

one year is ok maybe two years depending on the two's maturity.

if the girl is a minor dating a guy 18+ kinda fishy.

but if both are minors and 3 years apart is ok-ish

1 year to me is better because you get to spend more time together in school

while 3 your still in HS while he's in college

then you might hope he wait for you.and not mess with the college women there

It's also statuatory rape if it goes farther until you're 18. And then it's 18 and 21 so while three years means a ton right now it means less with each passing year. At 25 and 28 it's no big deal at all.

Honestly he should be looking for other 18 year olds until your older and legal. Sorry to sound like this but unless you want him in jail you'd be well advised to keep it to smiles.

Perfectly fine. Three years is actually quite a small age difference compared to some people in this world. As long as you both love each other for who you are, then there shouldn't be any problems. However, with sex, you should wait since having sex at 15 isn't exactly legal. Other than that, you should be completely fine! If both of you are okay with the age difference, then don't worry about it. My girlfriend is approx. 3 years older as well and we've been together for quite a while now, so I don't find anything wrong with it!

i know aloooottt people that dated people faaaaaarrrrrr older than that when they were your age. I am 19 and my boyfriend is 25, so in all fairness when I was 15 he would have been 21!

I think when you are under 16, it always seems a little weirder. do what you think is right love.
