Does my friend like my boyfriend or am I looking into things too much?

I'm asking here because I think I may just be looking into things too much. Anyways I was wondering recently because my boyfriend was in the car with me and we were talking with her, and I think she was bashing him or making fun of him? And then he said something like "hey you're one to talk weren't you the one that asked me out?" maybe I'm imagining things or misheard it. but then he looked at me as if he made a mistake saying that because his voice sounded a little weak towards the end of that sentence. this made me think about stuff that happened earlier. I remember my friend called me one time and the first thing she asked was "I heard you were thinking of breaking up with (boyfriend's name)?" I mean it was probably just cause it was a big topic or something. but also during the call in the car I noticed she laughed like a lot at everything he was saying? I also remember in the past she would ask him who he thought was prettier me or her, and that one time when he was showering me with compliments she got mad at him? they may just be good friends though, I know they talk often over text.
