Polygyny has been a human practice for eons. It makes sense with the biology of men and women. Women increasingly outnumber men. People have no issue with open relationships but freak out about two wives. Having had a full time husband and having a very full life with kids and other interests, I'd have no issue sending my hubs off to wife b when he starts to cramp my style.

In a society where men do not automatically lose child custody, have to pay alimony and so on, if the guy is rich it's okay. He should provide each wife with her own home and servants. In parts of africa that is the norm & it's considered shameful for a man to have multiple wives if he cannot afford all of this.

In a society where the law favors women it'd be foolish because even in a single divorce the man will lose 60% of his wealth plus ongoing alimony and child support. If he got divorced twice at the same time he'd probably lose 100%.

I never saw the upside of having two wives... because with 1 wife there's a chance she's going to be happy some of the time. With two wives it's likely that at least one will be unhappy at any given moment and unhappy women are unpleasant to be around.

Ok if you live in a country where women outnumber men but it could be bad if every guy wants to practice polygamy in a country where that's not a case.

For me, I'm not sure. My opinions on it aren't positive though but I'd have to look into it.

I've actually thought a lot about this; I think having multiple wives makes sense and might even be desirable if you're validating the women and genuinely making their lives better. I'm not saying that this is a preferrable state of affairs (I would much rather see stable, two-parent households), but I have come to the conclusion that women hate the dating market so much that when they meet desirable men who value them; it's probably better for them to share those men than it is for them to try and lock a man down for herself exclusively when he's not giving her what she needs emotionally.

I think I need two wives. My wife is bi so maybe it would work and she says she likes the idea. Plus I've noticed I don't really get hard as fast when I'm just banging the same girl. I need variety. I would not want another big-boobed Asian chick because I've been banging on that already for so long. I need variety. I don´t see what problem you solve with that. For me that creates even more problems than having just one wife especially if there is a moment of jealousy and sooner or later there will be such a moment.
Having two wifes means that I would have two take the responsibility of treating them equally and I feel like that would create more chaos than pleasure.

The idea of sex with two women or multiple women is alluring but if you really think about what love and sex entails. Knowing what makes your partner sad or cry. Studying their love language and knowing their child hood demons. Then talk about learning their sex buttons and what turns them on. Going soul to soul with them sexually. If you consider all of these, you'd know it is impossible to do it with two people.

Extremely unlikely to find 2 bisexual women I match with, that also match with eachother, that don't want kids, and also share my interests/hobbies.
Possibly has advantages, but also disadvantages.
A likely recipe for jealously/envy on time spent.

It's technically possible, but for the most part unrealistic, and seems like it would almost certainly end with all 3 people ending up alone, or one person ending up emotionally destroyed.

She isn't and my girlfriend isn't okay with it. I think you can be in love with more than one person. I definitely love my girlfriend and my crush, regardless of my crush's relationship status. Her dating doesn't change my feelings for her.
