Fallen for her, know I need to cut her out... Want one last day with her?

I've fallen for a girl I know I can't be with, all the variables; who she is, who I am, sadly I know it will never work, Its hurting me being around her so I know I need to cut her out and move on, I have the opportunity to do so now.

Its just I want to hang out with her one last time. Obv I wouldn't tell her, It'd just be hanging out with me like normal, for me it'd be my farewell. I belive id be strong enough to follow through with it, Im just not sure if it would be prolonging my hurt that tiny bit longer or not.

Just looking for opinions on the matter

Her sense of adventure, open personality, she brings outs the more emotional side of me, I feel happy spending time with her, more happy then I do with other friends, a lot of our life goals align, she helped me get out of the rutt I found myself in, compared to a lot of other people I meet she's seems properly invested in the friendship, and I find I'm comfortable around her (until I started getting theses feelings and my insecurities and anxiety took over). consistently she's trying to help me with confronting my issues and taking care of myself. Our ideologies and moralities seem to align.

I don't just fall head over heels over anyone, often I'm 'picky', I just don't find myself interested in many people and she's one that I have. Admitting how I feel will solve nothing, I know I'm a friend to her I've presented myself as such, she's had enough issues with friends in her past falling for her, id rather not torture her by admitting I'm another.

not wanting to take away from the other points you made, regarding the admiration for her.. which of course, can lead to romantic feelings about her

however, many of these points seem to be or to actually point to a "dependency" or in a way, your wellbeing does depend on her caring for you, and you do rely on that caring she has for your situation

this is more like an attachment to her, that is not reciprocated...

and a lot less like the two of you falling in love with one another, based on more positive engagement

this could be definitely problematic, ideally... would be better if you resolve your personal issues on your own first, just so you can be in a much better position to offer someone else, the best things about you... and a lot less of the issues

Yeah I've gotten that idea as well, seeing how my last relationship went I do find I have a hefty amount of dependency issues. I am trying to resolve it at this point in my life but obv I know its a work in progress. Till then I'm not sure how to handle the situation. I've thought its to distance myself: already been couple days since I last msgd them, and if they ask me about it in person (Should I see them) I can tell them the half-truth: I dropped my phone in the toilet XD. If they ask to spend time together I can just dodge it, buy time, until I fade from her life too.

I doubt id resolve my own issues any time soon, and in the meanwhile Its a blast being with her, but I feel ingenuine with these feelings, and don't wanna keep torturing myself either.

+Admitting it to her to relive myself would result in her sufferings, she's had a lot of friends do it to her in the past, it makes her uncomfortable. Thought itd be fine with me, seeing I don't develop interest in people often but I was wrong, I made that mistake and don't won't her to suffer for my mishaps.
