My boyfriend keeps breaking my phone and never pays to replace them?

For the 2 years that I have known him he has broken $1300 worth of phones. I had 2 iPhone 11s that I got for 350 each and a galaxy not 21 that I got for 600 he recently broke my galaxy phone and gave me one of his old phones it runs really slow. we both Lost our jobs 2 months ago we are now working and catching up on bills I sold my couch I gave him half which was 500. I thought he would replace my phone but he didn't he told me he had to pay his car bill and I would have to wait a while because he didn't have any money. I asked him to trade phones he told me no and told me to pay for my own phone and laughed about it. after about 10 minutes he said I was irritating him because I asked him to replace my phone or give me his phone and he told me my aunt was in my ear because she recently called me about him. at the end he told me he would switch his line and get a new phone which would be $60 I asked him for $100 to replace my phone he told me he didn't have the money. why does he keep breaking my phone and expect me to keep paying to replace it?
