My boyfriend's become very protective of his phone. He used to let me use it. But lately he keeps it in his pocket and takes it everywhere with him. If he on the phone and you get too close to him they'll he automatically turn the screen off

The being protective of your phone isn’t weird. The weird part is the change in his behavior. It’d be one thing if he was always protective of it. And that’d be fine. The change in behavior is what is weird to me.

Because of the change in behavior, unless your birthday is near and he doesn't want you to see the plans, I'd assume he is being unfaithful.
