I'm 26 and she's 29. Sometimes she gets angry and violent but I never react, I just hush her down and promise her something if she calms down, like a beer or a gift.

Someone saw this happen once and said that the way I speak and treat this woman is dehumanizing and akin to treating a dog. Does it sound like the case?
